Emerald Hamamelis

Finally, the shawl is blocked, ends woven in, finished.

The details have been Raveled. This was my first true lace shawl. Well, it's only my second (finished) shawl, so there are still plenty of firsts to be had.
The yarn was from yarntini and was such a pleasure to work with. The pattern was lovely and perfectly clear.

And if you click on the photos, you can see the whole set of pictures I took of the shawl, both blocked and unblocked. Blocking is so magical. I love it.

Beautiful! I've had difficulty learning to knit, its one of those things that I love the work other people do with it but I'm finding it too daunting to learn!
Amazing! You did such a great job and so fast!!!
That shawl is just lovely! I may have to try it :-)
Serena, it's gorgeous! Absolutely, utterly gorgeous. And in time for St. Patrick's Day, too. :-) Lace knitting is just so beautiful. *sigh*

Serena, this is gorgeous! Wow! I am truly inspired. I might just have to take on this project myself, later in the year. Beautiful colour too!
